About Us

Penrith Methodist Church has a long history of working with the local community to provide youth and children's work in the Cumbrian market town of Penrith. This work has the full support of the church and works with about 300 children and young people each year. This is made possible through the large team of volunteers and 2 employed members of staff,

The Bridge Youth Cafe is a project of Penrith Methodist Church . It has been open since the 19th of May 2003. Now 5 years on we are opening some exciting new cafe sessions that are drawing in young people from across the community.

Our Vision

We aim to create a safe environment for children and young people to have fun. This is a youth led initiative that hopes to meet the needs of those in our local community.
