Sunday Mornings

Penrith Methodist Church is set up to try and be welcoming to children, young people and their wider families. We have tried to create a relaxed environment for you to join us on a Sunday morning and we provide youth and children's work at our 10:45am Service. We understand how hard it is sometimes to get to church on time (especially when you have to get the kids out door, including those that don't want to go!), so if you're let then don't worry about it...there'll be no-one on the door checking their watch!

The Creche

We have a creche for babies, where you can go during the service if you need to. It's got lots of toys for the children to play with and the service is played into the room through a speaker.

Saltshakers

This is our Sunday School and runs for those from the age of 3 up to those in their final year of primary school. We run material from Scripture Union called Light. Please speak to the Saltshakers leaders on a Sunday morning to find out which group is right for your child. Carl Dodd

Centrepoint

For those is school years 7-9, we have Centrepoint which meets in the bar at The Bridge. Through a variety of activities relevant to this age group, the young people engage with some real life issues. Gareth Brolly leads this group.

This is our Sunday group for those in school years 10-13. This group meets to discuss some real life issues and takes the opportunity to engage with life and spirituality to a new level. Paul Ward is the main leader for this group.
