Music & Drama

We have 2 opportunities to be involved in music and drama here at Penrith Methodist Church, through 2 different types of work that we have developed

Kids Alive

Kids Alive meets on a Tuesday, 6:45pm to 7:30pm at the church. This group is a singing group with a variety of ages. The groups is active in being involved in worship, concerts and also responds to general invites from around the community. The group works on a variety of musical pieces.

Youth Organised Worship

Driven by the vision to engage young people in meaningful worship and for young people to be leading the church into new territory, YOW has 2 groups focusing on drama and music. Both groups feed into the worshipping life here at PMC and the groups aim to allow young people to get a better understanding of 'why we do what we do' at church.

The drama group meets on a Sunday morning at 10am before the 10:45am service. The band meets on a Tuesday, 6:30-7:20pm to practice and pray. Both groups are involved in developing the Youth Led Service, which is the 2nd Evening service each month.

We are currently looking for both 'drama & musically able' people to help continue the vision for this group.
